Our apartment

We recently bought an inexpensive, small digital camera that we call "the kids' camera". They take lots and lots of pictures with it. Since I never get around to taking photos of our Virginia Beach apartment, mostly because I am an adult and I think of things like that I should take pictures when I have cleaned everything and the lighting is right, I am posting some shots that the kids took. Because invariably when it is clean and the lighting is right, I am doing something else or I am too tired or I forget. So the first one is of the best room in the house--the kids room. It is light and bright with a walk in closet and their own TV and lots of space.
The next one is of the living room area from the kitchen. The dark couch is quite comfy and much of the time either Brett or Simon and I sleep on it in an attempt to separate the crying baby from the rest of the sleeping family members.


The next shot isn't show much to show the apartment, but to show the line at the hair salon the other day. There is a sign on the door that says "Open", and each of the stuffed animals and dolls waited patiently to have their hair styled by Maya and Jonah.
The last one is the bathroom, with lots of wet pool towels hanging around. I guess I am posting this one to show that our place is nothing fancy, just a regular old suburban apartment. They had to rip out the bathroom cabinet and replace it on the 3rd day we were here because we found a serious water leaking problem that caused huge mold growth underneath. Nice!
