Due Day

Today is my official due date.
For the record nothing whatsoever is happening yet. I know, it isn't even lunchtime yet, so there is still a lot of "due day" left. :) I feel fine and have no impending feeling that the baby is on it's way. I feel more ready...a lot of the projects we wanted to finish before turning our attention toward a baby are all done. Brett did have Friday off, but ended up working most of the day from home. Yesterday we worked on our new bookshelves, did some more paperwork and took some piles to Goodwill. We also packed away our down comforters--it is officially hot and sticky for the first time and we are down to sleeping with just sheets again. I listened to my last 2 hour podcast for engineering continuing education credits this morning while Brett and kids are at TBall...so am in good shape for renewing my license by my birthday in a few weeks.
In terms of my mental landscape--am still grouchy and sensitive and not a lot of fun for my family members to be around. Sigh. They are being troopers though, and have a sense of humor about it, which is great, but still, I owe them big when all is said and done. I am surprised by how tired I feel this time around, this close to the end. I don't remember feeling this way in my other pregnancies, but maybe I did. I guess it is just my body's way of forcing me to slow down and stop sprinting up 17 flights of subway steps a day and carrying too many heavy things.
