Visitors!

Our first visitors from the NW are here this week! We have been having so much fun--playing in Central Park, visiting FAO Schwarz and The American Girl Doll store, riding subways and just playing. Abbie and her mom Bonnie arrived *very* late on Tuesday night (their flight was delayed at Newark, which I am realizing seems to be a very common occurrence). They leave Saturday evening, so we have plans to picnic at a new playground at the park today and visit the Statue of Liberty tomorrow. Brett, meanwhile, has put in about an 80 hour week, so he hasn't been around much at all. His deadline is today, so one way or another he will likely be free to go play with us tomorrow. We have been staying at the temporary apartment, but have visited the new place. Bonnie also has friends in town and was able to meet up with them to go out late last night and will likely do the same tonight while I am with the 3 kids. The girls were sort of celebrating their birthday at the American Girl Doll Store. They have had so much fun dressing their dolls and doing their hair. Maya even had her doll's hair styled in the hair salon there, and Jonah found a picnic basket with play food for his boy doll.
